Enrollment FAQs

  • To register your child at Edison School of Innovation, please complete the online registration form or request a printed copy from the school office. After your registration application has been received, you will be notified of the next steps for enrollment.

    Printed registration forms can be emailed to info@edisonschoolaz.org, dropped off at the school office, or mailed to our address:

    *Student must reside in Arizona to enroll.

  • Re-Enrollment Form: If you have a student currently attending Edison School of Innovation and would like to re-enroll for next school year, please complete the online re-enrollment process using your ParentVUE sign-in. If you are unable to log in to your ParentVUE account, please contact the school office for assistance.

  • We currently do not offer transportation for students.

  • For the 2024-2025 school year, the enrollment capacity of Edison School of Innovation is set at the following caps per grade, for a total of 416 ADM or 436 students with each Kindergarten student counting as 0.5 ADM.

    • Grade Kindergarten: 20 students per class.

    • Grade 1-2: 26 students per class.

    • Grade 3-4: 28 students per class.

    • Grade 5-8: 30 students per class.

Charter School FAQs

  • Charter Schools are publicly funded schools established by independent operators under the terms of a charter with a local or national authority.

    Charter Schools provide:

    • Parent Choice

    • Innovation

    • Greater flexibility in return for greater accountability

    • Incubators of best practices that share best practices with the rest of the education system

  • YES. All charter schools, including elementary, middle, and high schools, are public schools. Public schools receive state and federal funding, are free to attend, and are open to all students.

  • NO. Charter Schools, including Edison School of Innovation, are free public schools with no tuition.

  • Charter Schools are open to all students regardless of district boundaries and are subject to enrollment caps and a lottery process.
